Make sure baby has a full mouthful...

When your baby latches on, if it feels wrong or sore, it's probably not right.  Remember your baby is learning to do it too. Take them off and start again. Use your finger or thumb and push their chin down to open their mouth wider to release them from sucking and get them to latch on again.  Keep doing it until it feels more comfortable.. usually they need a bigger mouthful. :-)

Dry biscuits....

It's an oldie but a goldie... have dry biscuits close at hand at all times, they really help to stave off that wave of nausea!
